In this statement from Praktijk Neela Paulussen, I, Neela Paulussen, would like to inform you that I handle your personal data with care. Below is a description of the purpose for which personal data is recorded, what is and is not done with the data, and to whom the data is provided. The most important thing is that I do not record more information than is necessary for contact and service provision. Collected personal data will not be sold or made available to third parties. This is subject to special circumstances, for example if required by law or necessary for the provision of services.

 

I adhere to the guidelines of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in relation to the protection of your privacy. WHAT PERSONAL DATA IS CONCERNED?

When you visit the website www.neelapaulussen.nl and/or fill in a contact form, personal data is processed: first and last name, email address, and information about your activities on the website. If you purchase services from me, such as therapy or training, I also store other personal data such as your address, telephone number, date of birth, or whatever else is necessary for the guidance.

 

WHY ARE THEY REQUIRED?

To contact you and to be able to provide the ‘service’ (therapy, coaching, workshop, or training). I use your name and contact details to maintain contact and to inform you about relevant matters related to the guidance. I carefully store all data that you share by email. Your data may also be used to send newsletters or otherwise inform you about my business activities, and to analyze visitor behavior in order to improve the website.

 

WHAT DOES NOT HAPPEN WITH YOUR DATA

Your data will not be sold or made available to others.

 

SHARING DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES

Your personal data will only be shared with third parties if this is necessary due to a legal obligation or a legitimate interest such as reasonable business practice:

  • Website host, for the storage of data from contact forms
  • Bank, for the processing of payments
  • Mollie, platform for processing Ideal payments if you use this option
  • Google Analytics, for the analysis of website visitor data
  • Software supplier MijnDiAd, for practice administration (appointments, reporting, invoicing, etc.)
  • Accountant/tax advisor, for possible access to invoices containing address details
  • Newsletter software, for the digital newsletter (not currently applicable)

Processing agreements setting out privacy conditions have been/will be concluded with these processors.

 

DIGITAL SECURITY

  • Email account De Praktijk uses Proton. End-to-end encryption and zero-access encryption ensure that only Neela Paulussen (or a substitute) can read your emails. If you ask a question via the contact form, I will use your email address to contact you. Any personal information you include will not be stored in my mailbox longer than necessary. I periodically delete this data.
  • Website security My website, https://neelapaulussen.nl, has an SSL security certificate. Others cannot access the data exchanged between you and me via this website.
  • Practice software I use mijnDiAd practice software for my administration. This is NEN7510 and ISO27001 certified, which means that MijnDiAd meets the highest security and quality standards.
  • Cookies My website only uses technical and functional cookies to ensure that my website works properly and to guarantee ease of use. You can delete previously stored information via your internet browser settings.
  • Google Analytics Google Analytics tracks general visitor data, such as visit and click behavior on my website. Your IP address remains protected. You can find their privacy policy with more information on the Google and Google Analytics websites.

 

PRIVACY ON THE INVOICE

The invoice you receive contains the following information.

  • your name, address, and place of residence
  • your date of birth
  • the date of the treatment
  • a brief description of the treatment, “psychotherapy” with the corresponding code
  • the cost of the consultation

 

YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING YOUR DATA

You can send me a written request to change, add to, or delete your data if it is incorrect or no longer relevant. The same applies if you would like to access your data/file.

 

CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY STATEMENT

Praktijk Neela Paulussen reserves the right to make changes to this privacy statement and to supplement it if necessary in response to current events. It is recommended that you regularly read the privacy statement on the website so that you are aware of these changes.
